CALL FOR INSPECTION: PETZL NAJA and EJECT
Following user feedback from the field, we have become aware of rare instances of unintentional loosening of the strap attachment screw on the NAJA and EJECT friction savers. In the cases observed, this loosening is limited and the screw does not come out of its seat.
These are the screws. Please check and increase the tightening torque from 3 to 4 Nm. The manufacturer also recommends using Loctite 243 on the thread. New pieces will already be marked at 4 Nm and the thread will be secured with Tuflok.
