Periodic inspection (PPE inspection) – fall protection equipment

To ensure that fall-arrest PPE (personal protective equipment against falls)
can be used for work at height and above open depth,
it must be inspected at least once every 12 months by the manufacturer or a competent person
– an authorised inspector. Requirements for periodic PPE inspections are set out in standard ČSN EN 365.

The result of the PPE inspection is:
A report on the periodic inspection of fall protection personal protective equipment.

– Equipment submitted for inspection must be clean and free of heavy dirt.

– If the equipment is dirty or not prepared (e.g. ZigZag on the rope, LockJack, SpiderJack on the rope ...), an additional fee of CZK 100/pc will be added to the inspection price.

– Cleaning and lubricating carabiners / connectors is included in the price of the periodic inspection.

– Ropes must be supplied for inspection without knots. Otherwise, we charge an additional fee for untying knots according to the hourly rate of CZK 500/h.

– Repair, replacement of parts and other work not listed above: CZK 500/h (Does not include the cost of spare parts!)

– Minimum price for a periodic inspection including the report: CZK 600

– Heavily soiled products cannot be inspected.

If you need the inspection urgently, we recommend calling so we can confirm time availability and accommodate your needs as much as possible.
If any PPE needs to be withdrawn from use, we will contact you by phone so you can plan accordingly and replace the equipment. We will also recommend and offer suitable alternative products so your workers are not missing anything essential for their work.

2. On-site inspection at the customer
We can also carry out PPE inspections directly at your company.
Just contact us and we will arrange a date when an inspector will come to you with the necessary equipment.

Payment for inspections

1) CASH when collecting the equipment at our premises in Brno.
2) INVOICE with due date – bank transfer after receiving the invoice – for our regular customers.
3) BANK TRANSFER
