Mesh knot on used rope

Entanglements on used, worn ropes are significantly more laborious
and more time-consuming to implement, mainly due to the accumulated dust
in the entire construction of the rope - the fibers of the core and the braid are thus stiff and "reinforced" by dust.

Such a rope is stiffer and handling these fibers is more difficult than when knotting a new, clean rope.

This is also the reason why the price of a knot on a used rope is higher.
