If you are looking for something extra for maximum comfort
during daily tree-climbing work and felling in stepladders throughout the season,
it is worth paying extra, it is without a doubt a very reasonable investment.

Spike lengths:
- short, the length of the inner edge of the tip is 35 mm
- medium, the length of the inner edge of the tip is 50 mm
- long, the length of the inner edge of the tip is 60 mm

For work in our latitudes, we recommend using medium and long spikes.

Medium or short spikes are suitable for trees with smooth bark - beech, hornbeam, elm, ...
Long tips are ideal for thick or furrowed bark - oak, poplar, willow, the lower zone of mature pines, Douglas firs, ...

Notice:
It should be borne in mind that long spikes on a smooth beech trunk will uncomfortably twist the legs
and in the long term significantly overload the knees and hips. So don't look for single spikes like
universal solution - the reasons why different lengths are produced are practical and therefore essential for
user comfort and above all your health.
