PETZL SIMPLE descender

SIMPLE is an abseiling descender designed for speleology and is easy to operate. It is used with low tensile ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm. Smaller dimensions and weight simplify the process in narrow passages. The life of the device can be optimized by turning the rollers or replacing them.
Ease of use:
- very easy to use, the rappel speed is controlled by changing the grip of the hand on the free end of the rope
- installation diagram engraved on the descender body
- a safety latch on the swivel side allows for easy rope insertion while the device remains attached to the harness, making it easy to bypass the progression anchor points
- the oval connecting hole allows the FREINO Z carabiner to be rotated to avoid losing the descender when changing from the harness connecting eye to the semi-circular carabiner
- compatible with low tensile ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm
Lightweight and compact:
- only 240 g
- consists of two aluminum pulleys to reduce weight
- smooth construction reduces the risk of getting caught in narrow passages
Descender life can be optimized by rotating or replacing the pulleys (D004CA00).
