The PETZL KNEE ASCENT KIT is a complete system designed to improve efficiency during SRS (Single Rope System) ascents in arboriculture and work at height.
The system is designed to integrate with the PETZL SEQUOIA harness but is also compatible with other arborist sit harnesses. Combining a knee ascender, elastic system, and adjustable foot loop, it significantly improves rope ascent efficiency and fluid movement while working in tree canopies.
The system includes an elastic strap routed through a plastic tube, mounted onto the harness waistbelt. The elastic system automatically advances the knee ascender during ascent, improving climbing smoothness and overall efficiency.
The knee ascender consists of a right-foot PANTIN rope clamp and an adjustable foot loop. Quick connection using MINO accessory carabiners makes installation simple and intuitive.
The system can easily be adjusted according to user height and climbing style preferences. Connecting the ends of the elastic system can additionally increase tension and optimize climbing efficiency.
Another major advantage is the availability of replaceable spare components, extending the overall lifespan of the system and simplifying maintenance.
