PETZL ASTRO 2025 INT is a full-body work harness designed for professional rope access, rope climbing and work at height. The international version meets European, American and Canadian safety standards.
The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops with 3D foam padding provide support and comfort during prolonged work and suspension in the harness. Widely spaced shoulder straps reduce friction around the neck, while the sliding strap design allows greater freedom of movement. Contact areas are lined with breathable fabric.
The dismantlable front attachment point allows PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyards and PODIUM or LITEPOD work seats to be attached directly. The integrated CROLL L chest ascender makes rope climbing easier and ensures an efficient rope-climbing system setup.
Two foldable metal side attachment points are used for work positioning. When not in use, they can be folded away so they do not get in the way or snag on surrounding structures.
The waistbelt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles, while the leg loops and left shoulder strap have FAST opening buckles, allowing the harness to be put on and taken off quickly without repeated adjustment.
For gear organization, the harness has seven shaped gear loops, two slots for CARITOOL holders or the INTERFAST system, and two loops for TOOLBAG pouches. Parking holders for fall-arrest lanyard connectors are pre-installed on the shoulder straps.
The rear attachment point is equipped with a fall indicator. If a fall is arrested on this point, a red indicator appears to signal that the harness must be taken out of service.
