The CMC CAPTO SOFT SHACKLE is a lightweight and compact textile connection accessory designed for use with the CAPTO device. It installs through the CAPTO cam axle and provides an additional attachment point for remote resets or for stowing the device on a harness or gear rack.

Constructed from low-friction Dyneema braid with an external diameter of 3.5 mm, it can be hand-fed through CAPTO’s 3.9 mm rivet hole without tools. The 60 mm length is optimized for attaching carabiners while minimizing the risk of interference with moving parts.

The loop is opened and closed by manipulating the outer sheath around the ball knot. The shackle is UV stabilized, abrasion resistant and significantly lighter than comparable stainless steel shackles.
