Description BAST-ING VALFIX spindle wedge

The BaSt-Ing ValFix is the lightest spindle wedge lifting tool in its class, representing a genuine technological innovation from BaSt-Ing. With a dead weight of less than 1.4 kg, it delivers an impressive lifting force exceeding 15 tons, resulting in an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of more than 1000 times its own weight.

The high efficiency of the ValFix is based on its very shallow wedge angle (approximately 10°). This design allows for a simple, low-friction construction while still generating extremely high lifting forces. To achieve sufficient lifting height despite the shallow angle, ValFix features a completely new spindle design.

The spindle is partially integrated into the wedge body – one half is protected inside the wedge, while the other half remains exposed. This solution enables a long wedge stroke with compact overall dimensions and protects mechanical components from damage during operation.

For easy maintenance and reliable operation during long working days, both threaded nuts are equipped with grease nipples, ensuring proper lubrication without the need for spray grease. The design does not require an axial bearing, reducing weight, spindle length and mechanical wear.

ValFix is designed to be operated with an impact wrench up to a maximum torque of 700 Nm. With the appropriate tool selection, it can also be used in combination with other workshop or field tools.
