The PROTEKT PORT-A-WRAP is a lowering device designed for controlled lowering of branches and trunk sections during arborist rigging and sectional tree dismantling.

The device uses a friction drum around which the rigging rope is wrapped. Friction between the rope and the drum allows smooth control of the lowering speed and load management when handling heavy sections.

The PORT-A-WRAP is mounted to the tree trunk using ratchet straps. The base features rubber blocks that protect the tree bark from damage while increasing the stability of the device during operation.

The device can be used for sectional dismantling of trees as well as for large crown reductions, where heavy branches or trunk sections must be safely lowered.

The set includes a transport box and two ratchet straps, allowing quick installation on the tree trunk.
