Description PETZL PANTIN foot ascender
The PETZL PANTIN is a foot ascender designed to be used in combination with CROLL, ASCENSION or ASCENTREE rope ascenders. It improves climbing efficiency and reduces effort during rope ascent.
The design allows rope progression from the first metres of ascent. The stainless steel cam provides improved corrosion resistance. The cam teeth and self-cleaning slot ensure reliable operation even in harsh conditions, such as icy or dirty ropes.
DYNEEMA® straps offer high abrasion resistance. The compact profile fits closely to the foot, reducing the risk of snagging. Strap length adjustment is quick and easy using the DoubleBack buckle. Rope release is achieved by a simple backward kick of the foot.
A safety catch for the cam is available separately as an accessory.
