The LEZARD lanyard is designed for helicopter evacuation from height. It provides secure management of takeoff and landing phases thanks to an adjustable anchor loop with a safety release system, allowing the helicopter to detach instantly in the event of a wind gust or other danger. Handling is straightforward due to quick identification of color-coded attachment points and the fast, precise length adjustment of the anchor loop using the ADJUST rope adjuster.

Designed for helicopter evacuation from height:

• Large attachment hole on the metal body for quick connection to the helicopter winch

• Adjustable anchor loop allows length adjustment for connection to an anchor point

• Two connection loops for attaching both the rescuer and the victim

• Carabiner connected to the metal body is designed for securing a stretcher

• The anchor loop includes a safety mechanism for the takeoff/landing phase — if the helicopter must leave its position quickly (wind gust, proximity to a rock face…), the safety release system disconnects the anchor loop from the LEZARD device

Easy handling:

• Quick identification of connection points thanks to color coding

• Very fast and precise adjustment of the loop length using the ergonomically shaped ADJUST rope adjuster

• Easier clipping due to correct positioning of the carabiners

• Low-stretch rope for optimal deployment (1)

NOTE:
Due to the highly specialized nature of the LEZARD lanyard, users are required to complete training provided by Petzl or an authorized Petzl training partner.

(1) The LEZARD lanyard is not equipped with an energy absorber. It should only be used when the fall factor is less than 1 (used below the anchor point).
