The new H-2 is designed for use with 13-19 mm diameter arborist rigging ropes. The H-2 offers rigid mounting, smooth and precise rope control and increased lifting and large capacity and is designed to perform professional work for every day.
It is a strong, preciously manufactured device with extreme durability.
The new reconfigured winch is made from hardened T-6 aluminum. With a 19 mm thick wall structure, the H-2 is designed for extreme impact loads, wear resistance and excellent heat dissipation. Solid and maintenance-free core, oil-impregnated bushings support the front and rear of the spool, which spins on solid 38 mm diameter steel shafts.

Lifting function
Using the winch included with the H-2 to turn the spool, the device uses a proven, strong and mechanically simple ratchet and latch mechanism.
With the ratio of mech. advantage 16:1, the H-2 can develop more than 1,362 kg of towing force and is rated to lift 454 kg. The H-2 increases its versatility by being able to remove rope slack during a weight fall, lifting the limbs and perform other towing and lifting operations.

Frame properties
The unique angle frame can be mounted in three configurations to suit a separate type of rope system:

Tree Care Installation – For pruning, where large branches are removed and the tree is preserved. Hinged cover, re-inserted tip and hinged, durable rubber pad provide additional protection. 454 kg working load limit (WLL)
Standard Mount – The three side prongs cut aggressively into the tree for added strength. Working load limit 908 kg (WLL)
Cut-in Mount – A cut in is made in the trunk for installation to secure the device against the unintentional movements. It is used when high loads are expected. 1362 kg working load limit (WLL)

Other features
The entry hook guides the rigging rope to the drum at the correct angle. Use the side hooks if you need a safe distance in the safe direction.
The H-2 is complete with a 6m mounting strap, winch lever and detailed graphic labels explaining proper use.
