The EDELRID PROTECTOR MAX SHIELD are replaceable aluminium inserts designed for use with the PROTECTOR MAX rope protector. They increase rope protection when in contact with edges and significantly reduce friction during rope movement.

The inserts feature a reinforced geometry, ensuring dimensional stability even under high loads and preventing deformation during use. This provides reliable protection for both the rope and the structure in demanding applications.

The inserts are mounted in a textile carrier and can be easily positioned and adjusted using hook-and-loop fastening according to the rope path. They can be used as a standalone component or as a replacement or upgrade to an existing system.

Thanks to the modular concept, the inserts can be combined with one or more PROTECTOR MAX pads to provide effective protection even in complex rope paths or multiple directional changes.
