- effective on both sides thanks to the D shape

- the H-shaped cross-section makes it easier to grip with gloves
- the Keylock system prevents the carabiner from being accidentally caught
- a small opening under the lanyard latch allows for the connection of e.g. a TIBLOC blocker,
