A 100 % plant-based, biodegradable hydrogel that turns ordinary soil into a long-lasting water reservoir.
Retentis® Bio is the first durable hydrogel made entirely from wood-derived lignin. Once mixed into the root zone, its granules swell during rain or irrigation to capture and hold water—and then release it slowly to your plants when the soil begins to dry. Over three to five years (depending on soil texture), Retentis® Bio not only supports continuous moisture supply but ultimately decomposes into humus, boosting organic matter and soil structure for the long haul.

How to Use
Blend Retentis® Bio directly into planting holes, potting mixes or topsoil at the recommended rate (e.g. 1–2 % by weight). Water in thoroughly to activate the hydrogel granules. For container-grown plants, combine with your substrate before filling pots; for field or landscape plantings, incorporate into the back-fill soil around roots.
