AIRSPADE 5000 UTILITY SERIES KIT 150 CFM 300 kV pneumatic excavation tool
Pneumatic excavation tool for work near underground utilities || Supersonic nozzle 4.2 m³/min (150 CFM) || Insulated barrel approx. 1.2 m + extension 0.9 m || Non-sparking design (bronze, brass) || Insulation up to 300 kV
AIRSPADE 5000 Utility Series Kit 150 CFM is a pneumatic excavation tool designed for the safe exposure of underground utilities using compressed air. It is suitable for work near electrical, gas, water and telecommunications lines without risking damage to them.
The tool uses a supersonic bronze nozzle (non-sparking material) with an output of 4.2 m³/min, generating a concentrated air jet with a speed exceeding Mach 2. The jet efficiently breaks up soil while solid objects such as cables or pipes remain undamaged.
The model is designed with maximum safety in mind. It features non-sparking components (bronze, brass) and an electrically insulated fiberglass barrel approx. 1.2 m long, rated up to 300 kV. The kit also includes an approx. 0.9 m extension with insulation up to 225 kV, allowing work at greater depth or a safe distance from the excavation.
The in-line handle is ergonomically designed for a vertical grip and precise tool control. The lightweight aluminium construction enables comfortable handling even when wearing gloves and reduces operator fatigue.
The tool is equipped with a dead-man trigger, trigger guard and integrated pressure gauge for monitoring the working pressure. Connection is via a 3/4" NPT inlet with a swivel universal coupling.
The kit also includes a 45° angle adapter (brass, non-sparking) for work in confined spaces, a flexible air hose and a durable transport case.
The construction combines aluminium, fiberglass, brass and bronze, ensuring low weight, durability and a long service life in everyday use.
