The NOTCH PORT-A-WRAP 16 stainless steel lowering device is a compact friction device designed for controlled lowering of heavy loads during arborist rigging operations. It provides smooth and predictable friction when lowering limbs, trunk sections, or blocks while protecting both the tree and surrounding property.

Unlike wrapping the rope around a tree trunk, the Port-A-Wrap delivers constant and repeatable friction. The ground worker can maintain full control over load dynamics and focus on safe operation. The device installs quickly, wraps easily with rope, and unwraps smoothly between loads.

The stainless steel construction ensures high resistance to corrosion, moisture, salt, and heat. The seamless main tube maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio and enhances overall durability. All edges are chamfered to prevent rope damage.

A tree-protecting cap is included to prevent trunk damage during installation.
