GEFAguard® PP is a flexible root protection fabric designed to separate tree root systems from protected areas and technical infrastructure. It helps limit unwanted root growth towards cables, pipes, sewers, foundations, roads, gardens, sports grounds or bodies of water.
The material is made of 360 g/m² polypropylene nonwoven fabric coated on both sides. It is black, waterproof, lightweight and flexible, 100% recyclable and offers good chemical resistance. GEFAguard® PP is suitable for most root types, but it is not suitable for bamboo – for bamboo, the manufacturer recommends GEFAguard® HDPE. The stated minimum service life is 30 years.
