The PROTEKT PORT-A-WRAP TU 110 is a lowering device designed for controlled lowering of branches and trunk sections during arborist rigging and sectional tree dismantling.

The device uses a friction drum around which the rigging rope is wrapped. Friction between the rope and the drum allows smooth control of lowering speed and load management when handling heavy sections.

The PORT-A-WRAP TU 110 is mounted to the tree trunk using ratchet straps. The base is equipped with anti-slip teeth, which ensure a stable position on the trunk even under high load.

This design is intended primarily for installation on trunks that will be removed, where damage to the bark is not a concern. If the trunk must be protected, the PORT-A-WRAP TU 100 with rubber blocks on the base is recommended.

The device is suitable for arborist rigging systems, sectional tree dismantling and controlled lowering of heavy wood sections.
