Carabiner with friction spur for rappelling and locking gate
- the spur helps increase friction and thereby improves control during rappelling (e.g. when rescuing another person)
- the rope can be easily positioned behind the spur without opening the carabiner
- automatic TWIST LOCK gate locking system that cannot be unlocked by a simple rotation
- the Keylock gate helps prevent the carabiner from snagging during manoeuvring
- used, for example, with the I’D and RIG, STOP, GRIGRI, HUIT, HUIT ANTIBRULURE and SIMPLE self-braking descenders
