PETZL AVAO 2025 INT is a full-body work harness designed for professional work at height, work positioning, fall arrest and descent. The international version complies with European, American and Canadian safety standards and features a fall indicator and connector parking retainers on the shoulder straps.

The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops with shaped foam padding provide support and comfort during prolonged work and when suspended in the harness. Widely spaced shoulder straps reduce friction around the neck, while their sliding design allows greater freedom of movement. Contact areas, including the shoulder straps, are lined with breathable fabric.

The front attachment point is a metal D-ring for connecting a descender, a positioning lanyard, or the PODIUM and LITEPOD work seats. It also includes a textile loop for attaching a lanyard using the detachable RING OPEN connector.

Two foldable metal side attachment points are designed for work positioning. When not in use, they can be folded away to avoid obstruction or snagging on nearby structures. Elastic connecting straps between the waistbelt and leg loops help keep the harness correctly adjusted while walking or suspended.

The shoulder straps, waistbelt and leg loops have self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles with anti-slip locks for precise fitting and to help maintain strap length during work.

For equipment organization, the harness has five shaped gear loops with protective sheaths and two slots for CARITOOL holders or the INTERFAST system. Connector parking retainers are pre-installed on the shoulder straps to keep connectors within reach and release them in the event of a fall.

The dorsal attachment point is equipped with a fall indicator. If a fall is arrested at this point, a red indicator appears to signal that the harness must be withdrawn from service.

Both versions of the PETZL AVAO 2025 are designed for professional work at height, work positioning and descent. They comply with European standards and share the same basic construction. They differ mainly in weight, certain safety features and the range of certifications.

PETZL AVAO EU is the lighter option for workers who need European certifications.
