The PETZL ASAP’SORBER is a compact energy absorber designed for use with the PETZL ASAP and ASAP LOCK mobile fall arresters during work at height.

The system allows the user to work at a distance from the rope, helping protect the working line during specific tasks while improving freedom of movement during work positioning.

The absorber uses progressive tearing webbing stored inside a protective pouch that shields the energy absorber from abrasion, dirt, and mechanical damage. The pouch can be opened for easy regular inspection and can also be replaced separately if worn.

Its flexible construction allows the absorber to move smoothly with the fall arrester while minimizing restrictions during work.

In the event of a fall, the energy-absorbing webbing tears progressively, significantly reducing impact forces on both the user and the anchoring system.

The ASAP’SORBER 20 is ideal for minimizing potential fall distance, while the ASAP’SORBER 40 offers greater working freedom and increased distance from the rope.
