Product Description
The ABSORBICA-Y 80 is a double lanyard with an integrated energy absorber, designed for progression along horizontal lifelines (textile or steel) or on elevated platforms, without passing intermediate anchors. It is intended for users weighing between 60 and 140 kg, including equipment. It offers multiple connection options to a harness and is compatible with various types of connectors.
- Designed for progression along both vertical and horizontal lifelines (textile or steel) and for passing intermediate anchor points
- Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:
- Progressive tearing of the energy absorber’s webbing reduces the impact force on the user
- Suitable for users with a total weight between 60 and 140 kg including equipment - Maximum allowable length is 100 cm, including connectors
- Compact volume: very small and unobtrusive energy absorber design allows freedom of movement
- Durable fabric pouch with simple opening system protects the absorber from abrasion and contaminants while allowing regular inspection
- Two connection options to the harness, depending on use:
- Frequent connection/disconnection – with a carabiner held in position by the STRING positioning accessory (included)
- Semi-permanent connection – using the RING OPEN, whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning - Two types of connectors can be used at the lanyard ends: locking carabiner or MGO OPEN connector with large gate opening
