The EDER WINCH 400 B Battery STIHL is a compact portable capstan winch designed for pulling loads in forestry, arboriculture, construction, and technical applications.

This version uses the STIHL AP battery system, enabling quiet, emission-free operation and easy use without fuel. It is especially suitable for work in sensitive areas or urban environments.

The winch operates with a continuous rope system – a synthetic rope of any length is used, which is not stored on a drum but passes through the winch. This allows efficient work without rope length limitations.

Operation is controlled by pulling the rope outside the danger zone. Pulling increases power, releasing stops the winch immediately. The integrated rope brake secures the load and prevents rollback.

The winch offers an excellent balance between performance, speed, and mobility. Low weight makes transport easy, while high line speed improves efficiency.
