EDELRID HMS BULLETPROOF SCREW ECO is a robust HMS carabiner with a screw-lock gate and a steel insert in the most heavily loaded upper section. The steel reinforcement reduces premature wear caused by rope friction or contact with metal components, while providing a lighter alternative to an all-steel carabiner. The non-anodized finish reduces the number of manufacturing processes and corresponds to the manufacturer's ECO design.
The Keylock design makes clipping and unclipping easy without snagging on other equipment. The H-profile helps optimize the strength-to-weight ratio, while the red indicator on the gate allows a quick check that the screw-lock gate is properly tightened.
