COURANT KOMORA TOUCAN 11.7 mm arborist rope – by the meter
MBS 30 kN || Weight 94 g/m || Elongation 2.7% || EN 1891-A
The COURANT KOMORA 11.7 mm arborist rope is a modern working rope designed for tree climbing techniques, evolving from the proven KANOPA construction with the latest rope manufacturing technologies.
The rope features a 16-strand polyester sheath and an X-Braid polyamide core, providing an excellent balance between flexibility, durability, and structural stability. It runs smoothly in mechanical devices and performs well in hitch-based systems.
The updated sheath offers enhanced abrasion resistance while ensuring smooth passage through most commonly used mechanical friction devices. The rope is heat stabilised, maintaining its properties even under intensive use.
Key features
- 16-strand construction with X-Braid core for balanced strength and flexibility
- Minimal core-sheath slippage (0%) for stable handling
- High abrasion resistance thanks to updated sheath
- Smooth operation in mechanical devices
- Heat stabilised construction
- Good handling in hitch systems
