The BaSt-Ing UNIVAL is a robust spindle wedge designed to significantly reduce the physical effort and time required for tree felling operations. Compared to lighter models, the UNIVAL is engineered for medium to heavy timber and daily professional use in demanding forestry environments.

The wedge is optimized for use with an impact wrench, while also allowing manual operation with a ratchet at any time, ensuring maximum flexibility in the field. The spindle is manufactured from high-quality chromium-molybdenum (CrMo) steel and machined from solid stock, enabling the UNIVAL to safely withstand even very powerful impact wrenches up to 1500 Nm.

For reliable operation and easy maintenance during long working days, both threaded nuts are equipped with grease nipples, providing sufficient lubrication without the need for spray lubricants. Thanks to the larger wedge angle (14°) and a long wedge travel of 16 cm, the UNIVAL delivers high lifting performance and stable operation even in hard and stressed timber.
