and a fall arrest system, a work positioning system, a rope access system or a rescue system.

- intended for through-holes, the minimum and maximum diameter of which corresponds to the given type of Snake Brace in relation to the actual current thickness of the structure
- the opening does not have to be regular, but the minimum diameter must be flat; there must be a minimum free space behind the opening for installation
- intended for one user only
- the maximum strength can only be used provided that the structure in which there is an anchor hole can withstand the load, in the expected directions of the load
- the minimum load capacity of the structure should be according to EN 795 (if it is not according to EN 795, the load capacity may be reduced)
- The Snake Brace can be loaded in any direction, only if the structure in which it is anchored also allows it
- can only be used with compatible couplings with a fuse according to EN 362
