Prof. Dr. Claus Mattheck

Prof. Dr. Claus Mattheck is a German scientist, biomechanist and author, internationally recognized as the founder of the VTA (Visual Tree Assessment) method for visual tree evaluation. His work focuses on tree biomechanics, structural stability, natural defense mechanisms and the response of trees to mechanical loads.
