The PETZL VERTIGO WIRE-LOCK is a professional carabiner designed primarily for via ferrata lanyards and fall arrest connection systems. Thanks to its ergonomic shape and automatic locking system, it offers fast, safe, and comfortable handling when passing anchor points.

The carabiner is mainly intended for use with SCORPIO VERTIGO and SCORPIO VERTIGO SW via ferrata lanyards, but it can also be used in other personal safety systems. The large gate opening makes clipping onto steel safety cables easier and improves handling comfort even while wearing gloves.

The WIRE-LOCK system optimizes opening and closing cycles, increasing durability during intensive use. The Keylock design also helps prevent snagging during handling.

The carabiner is made from lightweight and durable aluminium alloy and meets CE EN 12275 type K/B and UIAA certifications.
