PETZL METEOR is a lightweight, well-ventilated helmet for climbing and mountaineering. Its low-profile In-Mold construction combines a lightweight polycarbonate shell with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. Large ventilation openings ensure effective airflow even during demanding movement.
The construction follows the Petzl TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION concept and provides increased protection against impacts from the sides, front and rear. The semi-rigid headband is easy to adjust, even when wearing gloves, and the OMEGA system features a pronounced opening for comfortable wear with a ponytail. The helmet is equipped with two front clips and a rear elastic strap for attaching a headlamp.
The helmet is certified according to CE EN 12492 and UIAA.
