PETZL KNEE ASCENT CLIP FOOT is a knee ascender system designed for more efficient rope ascent without the need for a hand-operated ascender. This keeps your hands free, for example, to overcome obstacles while climbing.

The system uses a CROLL S ascender, an upper strap and a lower strap with a carabiner. The upper strap attaches to a ZIGZAG or ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical prusik in combination with the CHICANE additional brake. For comfortable, smooth ascent, it is used together with the PETZL PANTIN foot ascender, which is not included.

The lower Dyneema strap helps keep the foot in the correct position. The system is fully adjustable, and its individual parts are also available separately.

The CLIP FOOT version is intended for footwear with a strong attachment loop. With other footwear, the system must be supplemented with a separate foot loop, such as the 4SRT FLOOP or STEIN SRT FOOT LOOP.
