The EDER PORT-A-WRAP lowering anchor is a compact friction device for controlled lowering of branches and trunk sections during arborist rigging. It allows friction to be managed when lowering a load and helps reduce strain on the operator as well as the risk of uncontrolled rope movement.
The stainless steel construction provides high durability, long service life and corrosion resistance. The device is designed for ropes with a diameter of 11–19 mm and a maximum load capacity of 1,200 kg. It is available in Small and Large versions, which differ in tube diameter, dimensions and weight.
The EDER PORT-A-WRAP is intended exclusively for lowering loads. It must not be used for lowering people and its use requires professional training and experience with rope techniques.
