CT ASCENDER SIMPLE hand ascender serves as part of the ascent system in combination with other ascenders.
Upper hole for securing the rope with a carabiner.
The bottom hole is used for attaching a leg strap or a carabiner connecting the ascender to the harness.
PATENTED release system under load:
If the ascender needs to be moved downwards, the brake cam can be unblocked with the thumb without the need to completely relieve the blocker.
(In case of excessive load - e.g. the full weight of the user -
- the forces acting on the cam are so great that its release from the rope is not possible.)
