Description BAST-ING VALFAST spindle wedge

The BaSt-Ing VALFAST is a robust mechanical spindle wedge designed to make tree felling faster, safer, and far less physically demanding. Its well-engineered design allows operators to leave axes and sledgehammers behind and rely on controlled mechanical lifting instead.

VALFAST is optimized for impact wrench operation, while still allowing manual use with a ratchet when required. The current generation features a redesigned drive spindle, machined from high-quality CrMo steel since 2022, ensuring long-term durability even when used with very powerful impact wrenches.

Unlike competing wedges that use ball bearings, VALFAST employs plain bearings, which reliably absorb axial spindle forces and prevent premature bearing failure. The body is manufactured from a high-strength aluminum alloy with steel-like strength, and the quarter-round wedge tip ensures excellent grip in the wood and high durability under load.
