Compared to the DISTEL ALU version, the DISTEL ALU PLUS footrests have been upgraded in 3 elements:
- the PLUS variant has a reinforced - stronger and more durable construction of the duralumin body. - the misaligned part under the shoe fits better into the heel so that the footpegs do not slide on the heel during climbing - the lower part under the point is equipped with a rubber non-slip layer of approx. 7 mm - it holds better when walking on a branch
They allow daily and all-day use without chafing.
High and robust easily replaceable padding.
The position of the shin rest can be easily adjusted in height using 2 screws.
All replaceable tips are made of quality steel for long life.
The upper part of the fastening with Velcro.
Velcro straps are made of high-quality material,
which is essential for trouble-free long-term use.
All parts of the footrests are replaceable.
The ALU PLUS VELCRO variant has a Velcro fastening over the ankle. The ALU PLUS CLASSIC variant has a leather strap over the ankle.
DISTEL ALU PLUS CLASSIC pedals can be equipped with 2 types of spikes of your choice:
- AMERICA SHORT - short tips, inner edge length 40 mm
- AMERICA LONG - long spikes, inner edge length 70 mm
